Oral appliance therapy is a widely used and accepted method of treating sleep apnea. The “gold standard” therapy for sleep apnea is still continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), but there are many patients who are not able to tolerate it.
If you have tried to use CPAP but have given up on using it, an oral appliance may be for you. Call us to see if you are a candidate for an oral appliance!
